Important Announcement Regarding International Shipping

Starting from the August 2020 box, we will be removing the Surface Mail shipping option and using trackable and Express Shipping instead. The Express Shipping option may use DHL, EMS or an alternative service that still maintains the same speed and convenience. Customers are able to track the shipment of their box and receive it quickly and safely, which we feel is most important during these uncertain times. By doing so, we hope to reduce the number of delayed boxes and the uncertainty that comes with boxes that can’t be tracked.

For countries that don’t support Express Shipping, we’ll be shipping your boxes with Japan Post Priority Shipping + Tracking.

9/1/2021 Update

As of 9/1/2021, the Classic plan is no longer available to new subscribers. You can however still purchase TokyoTreat Premium as usual. Current Classic subscribers will continue to receive their TokyoTreat Classic Box until further notice.


1/19/2021 Important Update

Due to COVID-19 related global shipping price increases from shipping companies for 2021, we have to make a small adjustment to our shipping fees. The new shipping fee will only increase by $1.55 for all trackable shipping methods. 

So, if the shipping method for your country is Priority Shipping+tracking/Express Shipping+tracking, the shipping fee for Group 1 will be $10.50/box and for Group 2 it will be $12.50/box. 

Please note, if you have already subscribed to our prepaid plan (3/6/12 months) after 1st November 2020, and have paid the full amount upfront, you will not be affected by the new shipping fees until your plan renews.

However, if you have subscribed to our prepaid plan (3/6/12 months) before 1st November 2020, or are a monthly subscriber, and pay the shipping fee monthly, your new shipping fee will take place on 1st February 2021.


11/1/2020 Important Update

For US Based YumeTwins and nomakenolife Subscribers: 

We’ve been exploring new shipping options that will help our subscribers avoid potential customs fees while still having fast shipping and tracking capabilities. 

From 11/1/2020, we will be partnering with a new shipping partner who will be delivering your box from our Tokyo warehouse to your door. They will hand it to USPS once it reaches the US and they will handle the final delivery.

With our new shipping partner, you’ll still get the same express experience with an estimated shipping time of 5 - 10 days after shipping and detailed box tracking, so you can keep track of it every step of the way!
